Spring Pentathlon

On Sunday May 18^th, DWSC had 9 swimmers compete in a pentathlon meet at Okemos HS.  All of the swimmers did really well and had a great time.  Placing in the meet from DeWitt:  In the 8&under novice group:  Meghan Mack – 4^th place, Lindsay Overway – 10^th place,    Jamie Kracko – 11^th place, Dillon Green – 4^th place,  Hunter Kracko 6^th place, in the 10 year old group Hope Elzinga – 11^th place, Mariah Green- 28^th place,  in the 11 year old group Erin McManus finished 31^st, and in the 13-14 group Emily Carpenter finished 10^th.  Of special note, Hope Elzinga made her state qualifying time in the 50 freestyle with a time of 31.59.  Congratulations Hope!
