Swimmer of the Month
Congratulations to the following swimmers who we are recognizing for
their hard work and good attitude during the month the past month!!

Banquet
On Tuesday, March 25th we will be having our End of Season
Banquet at the DeWitt Junior High. From 6pm-7pm we will have a Spaghetti
Dinner in the Cafeteria, followed by the annual awards ceremony at 7:00
in the auditorium. All swimmers will be recognized! The cost is $7.00
for adults and $5.00 for children. This covers the cost of Relli’s
Spaghetti, salad, and dessert. Turn in your RSVP slip by March 20th.
Swim Shop
Get your goggles, DWSC Caps and DWSC Water Bottles now! We still have
Youth Large 2007 DWSC Tees available for $12.
Meet Schedule
The upcoming meet schedule is as follows:
Feb 29-Mar 2 Junior Olympics @ Holt
March 20- Dual Meet @ Mason
Dual meets are free! Warm ups are at 6:00 pm & the meet starts at
6:30, unless otherwise noted. Dual meet sign-up will be located at the
pool and is DUE 2 days before the meet.
Snow Days
Just a Reminder. We will not have swim practice when DeWitt
Public Schools are closed due to weather.
NEW: Spring Session 4/7 - 5/22
New this year! We are now able to offer a full spring session to all
swimmers. This session will focus more on stroke technique and
fundamentals.
The Blizzard Bowl
We’re still calculating totals, but by all accounts, the Blizzard
Bowl was a success. This was our first experience with hosting a USA
SWIM meet, and we look forward to an even better one next year!

Coaches Corner
Championship season is here. The coaches would
like to congratulate all the swimmers who participated in the District
Championship meet last weekend in Zeeland. All of the swimmers had great
swims and dropped time. Good luck to Ben Rentz and Gabby Roy who
qualified for Junior Olympics and to Ben who will represent DWSC at the
State Championship Meet. Our dual meets have been very well attended by
enthusiastic swimmers, so let’s keep it up for our last Dual meet
against Mason.
